We offer the various injectable weight loss medications through a compound pharmacy as options to help jumpstart weight loss. We can only provide services in New York State and do not accept/use insurance. Because these medications come from a compound pharmacy, they are in a vial in which the correct dose will need to be drawn up with insulin syringes. Directions for dosing and resources for syringes will be provided upon purchase.
This approach incorporates routine check ins (twice per month) with the provider via telemedicine. The provider will help guide and if needed provide real time instruction on how to give the injections. This option costs $50 per month in addition to the cost of the medication and shipping. This includes 1:1 coaching, assistance with meal prepping, and exercise ideas.
This approach offers less hands on by the provider. The patient will fill out their initial consultation form and then request refills as desired. The provider will check in at time of refills and provide initial instruction. There is no additional fee for this approach, the patient only pays for the medication and shipping costs.
Semaglutide is a GLP-1 (Glucagon-like peptide-1) that works by decreasing gastric emptying and maintaining insulin homeostasis. In turn, this makes you feel full faster which causes you to eat less.
Tirzepatide is a combination of Glucose-Dependent Insulinotropic Polypeptide (GIP) and Glucagon-Like Peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptors. This medication also works to delay gastric emptying as well as insulin homeostasis. This medication also induces a feeling of fullness. This is the newest medication to hit the market and is usually more expensive.
